The news broke right before I was about post this that NBC will be doing a benefit concert tomorrow night at Rockefeller Center at 8pm (ET). So far on the bill are Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi and Billy Joel. It will be on NBC, Bravo, CNBC, MSNBC, USA and E! as well as any network that wants to pick it up so check your listings. Tune in and help the east coast recover from this unbelievable event.
Onto this issue. My lead story changed at the last minute, but my inner geek wouldn't have had it any other way. There's alot to cover this week but before we get into all that...
Feedback
Thank you to all readers on making Issue #5 the most viewed issue yet. Please if you like what you read, spread the word! Tell your friends, retweet the link or post it in your Facebook groups. This is a ground up report and all help is needed and appreciated.
Onto the feedback blog, there were no emails to respond to at enternreport@gmail.com, so if you have any thoughts or comments, shoot me a message and I'll respond to it.
On Twitter I got alot of love from @travlord, one of the hosts of the East Coast Cast, last week's podcast plug. If you want to contact me on Twitter, you can @Reilly21106.
And now on with this issue...
I'll be honest I didn't see this one coming. Disney bought Lucasfilm for $4.05 billion in stock and cash. First of all, holy shit. Disney owns Star Wars. Not since Disney bought Marvel have I been stunned by a story. This puts Lucas into the Disney mega-machine, which changed the face of Marvel especially with the Avengers.
Also in the story is the announcement that Star Wars Episode VII will be coming out in 2015, with episode VIII and IX every couple of years to follow. I'm not sure how I feel about this. The good news is that George will not direct these movie, like the prequels, so that's promising.
All things considered this is amazing news, even though it will be weird to see Star Wars stuff in the Disney Store.
Seriously what was that? A heel ref? As awesome as a Shellshock on the top of the Cell is, the PPV ended so shitty.
Randy Orton defeated Alberto Del Rio
Rhodes Scholars defeated Team Hell No by DQ, Team Hell No retains the WWE Tag Team Championships
Kofi Kingston defeated The Miz to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship
Antonio Cesaro defeated Justin Gabriel to retain the WWE United States Championship
Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara defeated The Primetime Players
The Big Show defeated Sheamus to win the World Heavyweight Championship
Eve defeated Layla and Kaitlyn to retain the WWE Divas Championship
CM Punk defeated Ryback to retain the WWE Championship as referee Brad Maddox low-blowed Ryback then quick counted Ryback down.
Thoughts
What can I honestly say about this show? Not much happened. The only two real big notes out of this was Big Show winning and Ryback getting screwed.
The more I read and hear about this show, the more I'm glad I didn't attempt to watch it. I'm ready to get to Survivor Series in three weeks.

This was country week and if you know me, you know I was excited. I love country music! That being said it was a great night of dancing, a much needed distraction from the weather reports on the East Coast.
One thing is for sure though, the cream is definitely raising to the top but it's becoming harder to judge as a fan.
Best: Sabrina/Louis, Shawn/Derek & Apolo/Karina
Worst: Emmit/Cheryl
Most Improved: Kristie/Maks
I will say I loved the group performance, actually more than last week. There was more to it and having Big & Rich and Cowboy Troy there brought out an amazing energy.
Results Show
After watching the results show, I have to agree with Tom, Week 6 sucks!!! How does a couple who gets a perfect score get booted from the show? None of this makes sense.
Bottom 2: Apolo/Karina, Sabrina/Louis
Eliminated: Sabrina/Louis
Stunning. Absolutely stunning. There's not much else to say on this.
Next week it be a fun week with hybrid dance styles.
Episode:Ghostbusting at the Stash
This week's show ended up being very Halloween themed. Let me first say I don't believe in ghosts or spirits. I don't judge those who do, but it's not my thing. Nor do I believe in the legend of The Jersey Devil, despite growing up in Jersey. Honestly I think the lady who claimed to channel the spirits in the basement of the Stash was seriously crazy, BUT I admit I laughed really hard at Rob Bruce scaring Ming in the woods.
As for sales, it was almost all Thundercats related. I've never been a huge T-Cats fan but watching Ming talk about it amused me.
Not a bad show this week, just too spirit centric for me.
10/27/12: Milwaukee Admirals at Houston Aeros
Apparently the Admirals forgot how to score goals, either that or they just wanted to come home from Texas. The Aeros win 4-0, Darcy Kuemper made 33 saves for the shutout.
10/31/12:Charlotte Checkers at Milwaukee Admirals
What a game! I hate to say it but can Magnus Hellberg start more games? He's now 2-0 as a starter. In a wild back and forth game, Daniel Bang score more than half way through the third to give the Ads the lead and they hung on for a 5-4 win. It was their first home win of the season.
Tomorrow the Ads stay home for another game against Lake Erie, then they head right on the road for a game in Peoria on Saturday night then a Wednesday morning game in Grand Rapids.
Wrestling Newsbytes
Jerry Lawler Returning
On Raw this week, WWE announced that Jerry "The King" Lawler will be back on TV on 11/12. Great news after his massive heart attack last month.
Beth Phoenix reportedly granted released from WWE
On Raw, Vickie Guerrero "fired" Beth Phoenix to write her off TV. Beth asked for her release a couple of weeks back so this is a long time coming.
Adam Pearce and Colt Cabana leave the NWA World Heavyweight Championship behind
On Saturday night after match seven of their Seven Levels of Hate series, which Colt won, Adam Pearce leave the NWA and vacated the title after the NWA didn't sanction their match. Colt refused the belt and they left it behind in the middle of the ring in Australia.
Quick Hits
- Congrats to the San Francisco Giants on winning the World Series. It kinda came and went and it's over and done with.
- Green Day cancelled the rest of their 2012 tour dates and postponed their 2013 dates due to Billy Joe being in rehab. Honestly after happened at the I Heart Radio Festival, I hope he takes his time to properly rehab.
- Full credit to David Letterman & Jimmy Fallon for doing the show to empty studios in New York on Monday despite the weather.
- Taylor Swift sold 1.2 million copies of Red in it's first week. She has become the first woman to sell over one million albums on the opening week with two separate albums. The Backstreet Boys, NSync and Eminem are the only artists to do that in the past and that was in the TRL era when CD sales were red hot.
- Green Day moved up the release date of ¡Tre! to December instead of 2013. So ¡Dos! and ¡Tre! are coming out less than a month apart. It's good for the Christmas season for fans but it's times like this where I'm glad I have Spotify.
CD Review
Today's new album came out on Tuesday. First the positive, it's a country album. If you want the old school twang of country with the patent Toby twist, this is your album. The album flies by at a fast pace which is always good. A song like Haven't Seen The Last of You and Get Got will definitely be big radio hits if you ask me.
The negatives are the same issue I have with most Toby albums. 90% of the album is about drinking in some variation. This is evident in I Like Girls That Drink Beer and Cold Beer Country. I have no problem with drinking songs, I sing them at karaoke, but he's not Luke Bryan, the whole album doesn't have about it. Toby should take a page from label mate Trace Adkins when it comes to CD variety.
On the deluxe edition there are bonus tracks. I do not like the remixes of Red Solo Cup and Beers Ago. They should have been left alone. I do love live tracks, no matter what, so those made me happy.
Overall, an alright album. Not his best though.
Favorite Song:Haven't Seen The Last of You
Grade:C+
That's it for this issue. This has been a busy week in this blog and I'm going to try to post a bit more. On Sunday morning, I post my thoughts on the Ryback situation, I was very wrong but still. Also I did a story on the history of American Idol winners and then I did a redo of the WWE roster split if it did happen again today, and of course my NFL Week 9 picks are up.
Next week, I will do a CMA Awards report, will be covering any important stories from today's WWE conference call and other stuff that has nothing to do with the election. Till then, have a good week and thank you for reading.
