Entertainment Report Issue #7.5: TNA Turning Point PPV Special Edition

Welcome to a special edition of the Entertainment Report. I screwed up and messed up my dates. I forgot that TNA Turning Point was this Sunday so I never posted my picks for the show so that's why we have our first half issue and PPV only report. (I think I will be doing this as long as TNA is live so I review the full card.)

The rematch from Bound for Glory. This should be a great match. With it being a ladder match and Hardy's first PPV title defense, I don't see it any other way.

Winner and still World Heavyweight Champion: Jeff Hardy

The added stipulation is that the one who gets pinned will not get another title shot till BFG 13. It's intriguing  especially if Jeff does retain. So I think AJ Styles will get pinned and

Winner and new #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship: Bobby Roode

I love Daniels and Kazarian as a tag team, I never wanted them to lose the belts. I didn't want Chavo and Hernandez to win the belts. This has been an awful start to a rivalry because it's been about race. I'm sick of these things.

Winners and new TNA World Tag Team Champions of the World: Daniels & Kazarian

This is a great matchup. No doubt about it. Probably one of the best Samoa Joe matchups since Kurt Angle. It's a toss up but I can't see a title change here, unless it means we are going to have more matches with these two...

Winner and still TNA Television Champion: Samoa Joe

Um. Yeah that's all I can say about this match. At least it's not as random as every other X Division title match for the last few months. Just don't see much here at all.

Winner and still TNA X Division Champion: Rob Van Dam

Really this is the Aces & Eights vs. TNA matchup? Wow. Um. I guess this works because Angle got jumped by A&8s. We'll go with that...

Winner: Kurt Angle

This card is taking a turn for the weird. Yet I'm more interested in this match than Angle/Devon and RVD/Ryan combined. I mean it's Joesph Park. That's always fun!

Winner: Joseph Park

What the fuck! Why is Jesse wrestling? Why is this match happening? Even ODB and Eric Young are above his. It's ridiculous. I'm so sick of this guy already and it's only been a month.

Winners: ODB and Eric Young

Alright that's the complete card, definitely a better show than most of their small PPVs.

Next week in the full edition of the Entertainment Report, I will be reviewing this show and previewing WWE Survivor Series! All that, the return of Glee and much more.

So till then, keep everyone affected by Sandy in your hearts and prayers and thank you for reading.
