Wow. This is was this show is all about, a compelling story, major character development and amazing songs. Glee this week will hit a nerve in anyone who watched, whether it be someone like me who believes in the power of the Lord and prayer or someone who doesn't believe at all, this episode got to you. While the topic and story will surely stir up alot of talk either way, I as always would like to look at the songs that guided us through this emotional ride.
Puck-Only the Good Die Young
What a way to kick off the music for the night. Looking at how this episode unfolded, it was nice to have a nice bouncy up tempo Billy Joel classic sung here. Especially since it was well performed and I really loved the random dancing by the rest of the members of New Directions. A
Mercedes-I Look To You
This performance left me with goosebumps. It has been a while since we got a old fashioned emotional Mercedes solo and this one fit the bill perfectly. How the cast didn't start crying during this is incredible to me. Plus singing to Kurt, after his father was rushed to the hospital, added to this moment, even if he didn't appreciate it. A
Rachel-Papa Can You Hear Me?
The night of emotional solos continues with this amazing performance. From the park with Finn to the hospital room, that again left goosebumps going up and down my body. I also thought it was amazing that it turned from a song to a prayer. A+
Kurt-I Wanna Hold Your Hand
I didn't even see this one coming. Kurt's dedication to his dad was by far one of the most emotional performance/montages in this show's short history. It was sung in such a way that Kurt went from an unlikeable little punk to a guy who I just wanted to go up and give a big hug. I really loved the flashbacks with him and his dad, it made the moment even more special. A+
Finn-Losing My Religion
After praying to a grilled cheese sandwich all episode, this episode brought Finn's story full circle and I think made everything clear. Some people know their religious beliefs perfectly, positive or negative, while most are still searching. This song was totally fitting to close that storyline for that reason. A
Mercedes-Bridge Over Trouble Water
The moment and story behind this song was incredible. Mercedes got Kurt to come to church with her and dedicated the service and this song to him and his father. That part I have no problem with. The issue I had is that her voice sounded different from the earlier solo, like it got higher. Maybe it's her range but it was a little distracting at times. But taking that away, there's just something I love about watching an entire church congregation get up and sing and dance along to this song. A
New Directions-One of Us
I've never been a huge fan of this song, then again it came out when I was young and I just didn't understand the song, or maybe I just didn't like Joan Osbourne's voice because hearing ND sing this after the roller coaster of emotions on this night was just fitting. The song finally made sense to me. The other big moment that came out of this Sue coming into the auditorum after talking to her handicapped sister and almost breaking down standing next to Shue. It was by far one of the most real moments she even shared with Will and the kids. This was a great way to go out. A+

WWE NXT:The Online Edition
Okay first of all let me say I am NOT a big fan of watching WWE NXT On Demand on nxt.wwe.com. It's just not the same and harder to watch. That being said if I want to continue watching this show this season, this is the only way to do it since SyFy took it off for a combination of bad ratings and the fact they only want one wrestling program on their network and that show is now Friday Night Smackdown.
That being said it was elimination night for the NXT Diva Rookies and while the show has been about terrible competitions and Cole's over the top heel commentary, there is still a competition going on. Somehow Kathyn got immunity for winning the most challenges since the beginning of the season.
In past seasons at this point I would go through the NXT Poll rankings in order and talk about the Rookies and their chances of winning. Well there was no poll, no rankings at all. All there was was a screen with their faces flashing through like it was draft night and there was a "randomly generated pick" going on.
When the flashing pictures ended, Jamie, one of my favorites, was eliminated.
There's not much else to say but that because this season of NXT has been really difficult to watch at times. I guess I will say that the one good thing about the online version of the show is that the whole show can be watched with "Raw Recalls" and all those other advertistments for other WWE programming that take up most of the hour.
