Dancing with the Stars Finale:Beat the Odds

Monday/Tuesday night is the Dancing with the Stars grand finale. It has been a crazy season, to say the least. Now it's down to three couples, so I will pick who I think has the best odds at winning this show.

Jennifer/Derek
These two have been the most consistent of anyone on the show. They have been at the top for most of the season and all these roughest competition is completely gone. So you would think that they would be no chance of them losing. But then you realize this isn't a typical season. They should be able to pull it off, but nothing is guaranteed. 2:1

Kyle/Lacey
Talk about a duo who keeps growing and getting better every week. These two weren't supposed to be this good, but I am so glad that they are. They are my personal pick for the show, but they aren't the favorites going in. If they have two perfect performances, they could win this thing. 1:3

Bristol/Mark
Wow, this has to be the most controversial finalist on any reality show I've ever watched. The thing is that she has drastically improved since putting on a monkey costume on TV theme week. If she wasn't a Palin, no one would think twice. I don't think she has a chance to win but the fact that he made it shows that this is a truly fan operated show and anything is possible on live reality tv. 1:50

(Note: I have no idea what the odds numbers even mean, I'm just having fun so don't take those number serious for any reason.)

Rest in Peace Pat Burns

After the 2001-2002 season, the Devils were without a coach and a direction. Lou then hired legendary coach Pat Burns. Personally I was excited by this decision, I have always been a fan, and the fact that he had won three Jack Adams trophies showed alone how good of a coach he was. Well he brought the Stanley Cup back home to New Jersey on June 9, 2003. I never got to meet the guy, I guess I have to now cross it off my bucket list, but I remember the smile on his face at the Stanley Cup celebration in the Meadowlands parking lot on a hot Saturday afternoon. With that being said, Pat Burns, I thank you for that championship. Rest in Peace.
